Alberta Healthy Communities Initiative

The mission of the Alberta Healthy Communities Initiative (AHCI) is to support communities across Alberta to create healthy and thriving places to live, learn, work, play and age. They offer evidence-based tools and resources, opportunities to gain knowledge and experience, access to the most up-to-date data on their communities and a proven approach to creating community connections and acting on the issues that most matter. Mike has an ongoing collaboration with the AHCI to work one-to-one with representatives from partner communities all over Alberta tell stories of challenges and successes in their health promotion work.
