CancerControl Alberta – Patient Education

For 5 years Mike worked as an Education Specialist with CancerControl Alberta to create a suite of 30 patient education videos, many of these in partnership with Roadwest Pictures. The topics include Managing Cancer Related Fatigue (7 part series), Cancer Survivorship issues like sleep, nutrition, brain fog, and patient stories  (5 part series), Systemic Treatments (6 part series), and Radiation Treatments (6 part series). These videos are educational but also incorporate patient stories and experiences. Using patient stories as integral aspects to patient education is what makes these education videos new and innovative in their approach
