The Alex Community Health Centre

Beginning in 2017, Mike has an on-going DST project in conjunction with an inner city health clinic called The Alex in Calgary, AB. Patients and family members from the clinic are nominated to participate in a month-long DST workshop with a large public screening of the stories at the end of the program. The stories often deal with the important themes of addiction/recovery, abuse, homelessness, and many of the other public health challenges facing society today. These stories are not publicly available, but some of them have been shared in an online screening and discussion on the Mike Lang Stories FaceBook page.
