Shared Care Letters: Circles of Support
Mike was contracted by Cancer Care Alberta to create an education curriculum for oncologists and primary care physicians to both create and understand the importance of “Shared Care” letters that coordinates a patients care. In this project he worked with one patient advisor and an oncologist to discuss the importance of a shared care letter and filmed a shared care letter clinical interaction. This curriculum is shared with all oncologist in Alberta as part of the new Connect Care training curriculum.
